Package: Safeguarding training for voluntary groups

Course Description

Our online training package for anyone who works in the charity, voluntary or community sector will give one individual access to four of our highly-rated elearning courses and support you in fulfilling your child protection requirements in keeping the children you volunteer with safe. The courses in each package can only be taken by one individual.

Introduction to safeguarding and child protection

Increase your confidence in identifying and responding to possible signs of abuse and neglect with our 3-hour CPD-certified online course.

Keeping children safe online

Developed in association with CEOP, the child protection unit of the National Crime Agency, our 4-hour interactive course will help you to understand how children use the internet and how to respond to risks they may face online.

Keeping 16 to 25 year olds safe from abuse

This introductory elearning course will give you a clear understanding of how to recognise, report and record concerns and protect the young people you work with.

Safer recruitment for those in non-education settings

Learn how to safely recruit the right staff and volunteers to ensure they are safe to work with children and young people with our 4-hour CPD-certified online training course.

  • Duration
    • Each course takes between 3-4 hours to complete.

      You will have access to all four course for one year following purchase. You can take them as many times as you like in that time.

  • Certificate of achievement
    • All courses in this package are CPD certified, once you've successfully completed each course you can download a personalised certificate of achievement.

  • Technical requirements
    • Our online courses will work in most web browsers, although we recommend that you use Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge or Safari. We recommend installing the latest version of your web browser before beginning your course.

      Our courses are compatible with most tablet devices, however the NSPCC does not provide full technical support for tablet users. We do not support other mobile devices.

      Videos clips hosted on the video sharing site Vimeo feature in some of our courses. Video playback controls will vary and are dependent on the browser used to take the course and where the video is hosted. If you experience problems with the videos then we recommend you try taking the course in a different browser.
