This introductory webinar will explore the dynamic world of online safety from the perspective of children and young people.

The webinar shares the views of young people on what they want to know about, and what they wish you knew more about. It covers how children and young people are using the internet, the benefits and risks of being online, youth views on online safety education, how to involve parents and carers, and how professionals working with children can act to support young people and children online.

    

How the webinars will be delivered

  • You’ll need to sign up to Zoom and agree to the Zoom Privacy Notice in order to attend
  • No confidential or sensitive data should be shared during the event
