Course Description
Our package of elearning courses covers the key areas of safeguarding and child protection you need to know when running sports and physical activities with children and young people. Participating in sports should be safe and fun. As experts in safeguarding and child protection, you can trust us to provide high-quality training to help you protect the children and young people you’re working with.Our online training package will give one individual access to four of our highly-rated elearning courses. The courses in each package can only be taken by one individual.

Child protection in sport and physical activity
Our CPD certified introductory course will help you and your staff to understand your role and responsibilities in protecting children and young people from abuse or harm.
Safer sports events
This CPD certified online course covers everything you need to consider about safeguarding and child protection for sports events – including venues, activity providers, transport, staffing, first aid, inclusivity, partner organisations and evaluating other safeguarding risks (such as during downtime or overnight stays).
Keeping children safe online
Developed in association with CEOP, the child protection unit of the National Crime Agency, our 4-hour CPD certified interactive course will help you to understand how children use the internet and how to respond to risks they may face online.
Safer recruitment for those in non-education settings
Learn how to safely recruit the right staff and volunteers to ensure they are safe to work with children and young people with our 4-hour CPD certified online training course.

Our online courses will work in most web browsers, although we recommend that you use Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge or Safari. We recommend installing the latest version of your web browser before beginning your course.
Our courses are compatible with most tablet devices, however the NSPCC does not provide full technical support for tablet users. We do not support other mobile devices.
Videos clips hosted on the video sharing site Vimeo feature in some of our courses. Video playback controls will vary and are dependent on the browser used to take the course and where the video is hosted. If you experience problems with the videos then we recommend you try taking the course in a different browser.

Duration: Each course takes between 3-4 hours to complete.
